Uninspiring Performance Leaves Hammers Frustrated
Goals from Bowen and Antonio Not Enough to Secure Victory
London, England - West Ham United's recent struggles at home continued as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Luton Town in their Premier League encounter at the London Stadium.
The Hammers, who have now drawn their last three home matches, started brightly and took the lead through a Jarrod Bowen strike in the 25th minute. However, Luton Town responded well and equalized just before halftime through a goal from Cauley Woodrow.
West Ham regained the lead in the second half through a Michail Antonio header, but Luton Town refused to lie down and scored a deserved equalizer through Elijah Adebayo in the 85th minute. The result leaves West Ham in ninth place in the Premier League table, while Luton Town remain in 12th.
